Thank you for shopping with KomodoKidz. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
1. Return Window You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. After 30 days, we are unable to accept returns unless the item is faulty or not as described.
2. Condition Requirements
New Books, Toys & Accessories — must be unused, in the same condition as received, in original packaging where applicable, and free from damage or signs of use.
Secondhand / Preloved Books — must be returned in the same condition as described and received. We cannot accept returns on secondhand books that have been further used, written in, or damaged after receipt. If you believe a secondhand book was not accurately described, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
Non-Returnable Items — personalised or customised items, and any items marked as final sale at the time of purchase.
3. How to Initiate a Return Contact us at hello@komodokidz.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, the reason for your return, and a photo if the item is damaged or faulty. We'll respond within 2 business days with return instructions. Please don't send items back without contacting us first.
4. Return Shipping
- Faulty or incorrectly described items: We cover return shipping costs.
- Change of mind returns: The customer is responsible for return postage. We recommend a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
5. Refund Process & Timeline Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you by email. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty item.
6. Exchanges We don't offer direct exchanges. Please return the original item and place a new order.
7. Your Statutory Rights This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including your 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.
